This is a Madian name and was the name of one of the famous Madians in the pre-Achaemenid period. Tamoura

Tanmour, Talmur, is an ancient instrument that consists of two words. If it is Tanmur, it becomes: Tan means body, and Mur means mourning. If it's Talmur, it contains Tal, meaning wire, and Mur is mourning. Both are two old Kurdish words, which the Persians have turned into tanbur, and tanbur has no meaning.
