21	Gotan	It was the name of a Kurdish tribe in the Van region that was exiled to Cyprus by the Ottoman Empire and stayed there. They gradually forgot their language and culture among the Turks and became Turks.
22	Goto	Goti, Gothi, Gosan, is the ancient name of a Kurdish tribe that conquered Sumer and Akkad in 2649 BC and ruled for 125 years and 40 days. Later, the word Gothi became Koti Kurti, Kardkhoy, and Kurdkhoy. This tribe lived in the Zagros Mountains. The Greek Estrabo called them Kurti in his account of the Atropats or Medes. Xenophon, on his return of 10,000 men in 401 BC, met them in the mountains of Zakros and his army was defeated by these Kardokhis. As mentioned above, this is the ancient Kurdish name that the Arabs changed to Judi and Judi is a mountain in Kurdistan in the Badinan region that descends behind Nusebin to Zakho. It is also mentioned in the Qur'an and the Gospel that Noah's ark landed on this mountain during the flood. See: Gosan.
