Dr. Akin Ondar, the surgeon of this operation said that the surgery took 35 minutes and 2 thousand stones were taken out of the patient’s stomach. Our patient says that she was diagnosed with bile stones 20 years ago but she has never accepted to have surgery for her obesity and her fear of the operation. She came to the hospital for severe stomachache and after sonography and blood tests, we found out she had a lot of stones in her bile. We talked to her and explained her condition to her so she accepted to have the surgery. We were astonished when we found 2 thousand stones in her bile. She is in a stable condition now and she has had no problems so far.

Pari Khan Altoun said: “I came to the hospital for severe pain in my stomach and constant vomiting, backache, and a lot of pain in my chest. Professor Akin told me that there are a lot of stones in my bile but I was afraid to have surgery. He convinced me to do it, and I felt much better after the operation. I don’t feel any pain now and I thank Dr. Akin and his team.”
