With the advancement of technology, computers have entered our lives in every way, with prolonged use, causing serious problems.
Fakhraddin Kalash, a member of the health board of Laser Optics, said about the health measures to protect eye health, especially for those who work at desks and behind the screen: To protect eye health, the eyes should be at least 60 cm away from the computer screen, “People who often work on computers should not look at the computer screen directly for more than 2 hours and should occasionally look away and see other places and objects. The eyes should be blinked regularly and excessive dryness or watery eyes should be reduced by massaging the eyes. At the same time training the eye by looking left to right, down to up, without turning the neck, is a procedure which will help to overcome the fatigue of the eyes."
"People who want to visit a doctor should tell them how many hours they work in front of the computer every day. In order to get good results visiting the doctor and receiving treatment, they should tell the doctor what they are doing," he said. Too much light in a place disturbs the eyes; that is why the workplace should be dimly lit. People who are constantly in front of a computer screen should visit an ophthalmologist twice a year and choose glasses that protect them from blue rays. If we are not aware of these points, eye fatigue will double and we will suffer from migraines, headaches, eye fatigue, and wet eyes. At the same time, the choice of glasses should be fit for the person’s appearance. That is, whatever the anatomy of the face, the glasses must fit the anatomy of the face, not damage the skin, and be made of good materials. Professional help should also be sought in choosing glasses.
