A Kurdish Athlete Won First Place in an International Championship

The tournament was organized by the Al-Arabiya Gilgamesh Sports Organization in Baghdad, the capital of Iraq, and 40 athletes from the Kurdistan Region, Iran, Syria, Lebanon, and Iraq participated in the competition.

Kurdshop - Kurdish athlete Anas Imad Mahmud won first place in K1 style (martial arts and kickboxing) at the level of 40 countries in international professional wrestling.

Anas' father said in a statement that his son won the first prize in K1 professional wrestling in the 51kg category, fighting professional champion Jaafar Jamal.
