Marah (Wedding Vows)
The husband and wife's pledge that shall be announced based on Islamic Sharia.
Marayi
Money, gold, property, or something of the kind that must be given to the wife by the husband when they get married or sometime in the future.

This expression is mostly used for women who look more beautiful after they get married.

Marrying a woman to a man.

The priest hit Faraj with a shoe and Faraj did the same to the priest. The priest ran away to a corner of the Mosque and told him, now you're married. People asked Mamfaraj if he had married the woman; and he had answered: Yes, but I didn't know that marriage is just like a fight.

A man who remarries a woman who once was his wife but they got divorced.
To marry a woman whose husband has died or she has divorced her ex-husband to another man.
Mareh Bir
A person who marries a woman to a man.
A young girl who has been married to someone at a young age but has not consummated the marriage.
Mareh Biraneh
An amount of money to pay the priest for marrying a man and a woman.
A mother's mareh Biraneh
It is expressed as a joke or angry comment to explain a situation when someone thinks of themselves to be more qualified than the other to do or have something.
Mareh ba jash
To marry a woman who has been divorced thrice (it is an oath that can be expressed by a husband that I will divorce you "the wife" thrice) or a woman who has got divorced the same man three times. This woman must marry another man and then divorce him so that his ex-husband can marry her again based on Islamic Sharia.
Married but divorced
A woman who is married to a man but lives apart from him.
Beliefs on Marriage
The father can marry three daughters of his to men without asking for his daughters' approval.
During the marriage matrimony, if someone spins thread or ties it, the groom will be cursed.
During the marriage matrimony, if someone plays with Tasbih, the groom will be cursed.
Hana was the Marayi (something given to the wife as a gift by the husband) of Aisha and Fatemeh.
