Trade Turnover via Parvizkhan Border Exceeded $2 billion

The trade turnover in the Parvizkhan border in Krmashan province reached $2.178 billion from the beginning of Newroz to December 21at, 2022, of which $1.653 million was exports and $525 million was imports, Ghasem Motalebi, Director General of Parvizkhan customs, said.

According to the director of the Parvizkhan border, 2.567 million tons of goods were exported and imported from the border during this period.

Krmashan (Kermanshah) Province has a 371-Kilometer border with the Kurdistan Region, two international borders, five active markets, and over $3 billion of annual trade turnover. Still, it is one of the poorest provinces in Iran with the highest unemployment rate.
