Dear Kurdish Citizens,

We want to inform you that the Kurdshop Organization in its efforts to preserve and develop national values and to encourage and help citizens to find Kurdish names for their children, has activated the section "Kurdish names for children" in all three sections of the Kurdshop website (Sorani Kurdish - Kurmanji Kurdish - English).
This section lists more than 3000 names for girls and boys with their meanings. In order to make it easier to find names, this section is not only classified according to gender but also the names of each gender are arranged alphabetically.
For the preparation of this section, we have used the book "Kurdish Names" by Naser Razazi as the basis and most of the names are taken from this book. In addition to this book, we have taken some of the names from the websites of “Original Kurdish names – Dilmanj” and “Kurdish Names/Persian Names”. Also, for the meanings of the names, we used the Wishadan website.
We hope that this step of the Kurdshop Organization will help our citizens find beautiful Kurdish names for their children and will be an incentive for all Kurds living anywhere in Kurdistan and the world to choose beautiful Kurdish names for their children.

Sincerely,
Kurdshop Organization
