The ceremony began at 2:45 pm with the national anthem "Ey Reqib" and a moment of silence to tribute to the Kurdistan martyrs.
At the beginning of the ceremony, the message of the Zara Award Organizing Committee was read out by "Kamil Najari", Project Manager of the Kurdshop Organization.
Afterward, the message of Kurdshop Organization was presented by "Walat Mohammed Salih", the organization's president, and then a poem by "Ako Elyasi" written for "Zara Mohammadi" was read by Ms. Dilnya Lutfi.
In another part of the ceremony, the jury report was read by "Khalid Jamil Mohammad" on selecting the award winner, and the name of the "Vejin Culture and Arts Institute" of Marivan was announced as the winner of the first Zara Award. The award was presented by Welat Qaderi, President of Kurdshop, to Dr. Hamid Koneposhi, representative of Vejin Institute.
After receiving the award, Dr. Koneposhi spoke about the importance of digitizing the Kurdish language and presented a brief account of Vejin’s activities in this field.
Later, a video was played about the activities of Vejin in Marivan and surrounding villages.
The final part of the ceremony was the message of Zara Mohammadi's family presented by "Heibat Mohammadi", Zara's brother.
