The colorful plains, high foggy mountains, the scenery of lakes, rivers, and springs, the sound of birds, and the beautiful nature of Kurdistan, in general, had a great influence on Kawais Agha's feelings and thoughts and reflected in his songs.

On May 13, 1916, due to World War I and the occupation of Rwandiz by the British, many people could not migrate and moved to Shaqlawa in South part of Kurdistan and stayed there. Kawais Agha moved to Shaqlawa with Haji Newroz's family and settled there.
