Kurdshop - In Van City, North part of Kurdistan, Chalak Events will begin their work by the title of "Chalakino" to play films and interviews with their directors.
Chalak Events will present different Kurdish films from August 5th to October 14th.
Chalak Events have prepared this project in Van City and during this event 9 films and 5 short films will be presented as well as interviews with the directors of those films.
Chalak Events also organizes six other activities such as interviewing and seminars and workshops.
The films will be played in the theater hall and the interviews with the directors will be online.
Chalak Events aims to become a bridge between Cinema Students, directors, producers, and viewers so that could use each other's experiences and create better connections and relationships.
Chalak Events was established to be a platform for the Cinema students first in Istanbul in 2017 and later in Van (2018), and Amad (2022).
This platform is mostly made for the youth and their cultural, artistic, literary, and linguistic activities.
