The Kurdish movie "Dirty Lands" will be broadcast on 9/1/2023 on both French and German art channels.

The movie was produced in Sulaimani and Germian Region and the Ministry of Culture of Sulaimani (Cinema Department) and Margo Cinema of France were the producers of this movie.

Dirty Lands has already been broadcast on two global TV channels, Arte and Canal Plus (CANAL+).

The Islamic Republic of Iran has arrested the movie's main actor. Critics describe the movie's main character as the hero of silence.

"Dirty Lands" has been compared to "The Hurt Locker". The movie won six BAFTA and six Academy Awards (Oscar) in 2010.
