Depredation and stealing Kurdistan's underground resources by the Islamic Republic of Iran has been conducted for years now. Although they steal Kurdistan incomes, they do not spend even the least amount of that money for the local people and the regime has hired people from other parts of the country in those areas.
The gold mines of "Zarshoran and Aghdara" in Tekab which are among the richest mines in Kurdistan and Iran have been plundered by the Iranian regime for years without the slightest financial benefits for the people of that region. Once again, the regime has begun to plunder and this time it is the uranium resource in Khoy that they are aiming for with building a large factory in this city.
There are very important kinds of elements such as "uranium and molybdenum" in this mine that the Islamic Republic of Iran is going to use in their strategic industries such as nuclear energy generation. They have invested in this project a total amount of 6 thousand billion tomans, one thousand billion of which is spent on building a factory.
The largest uranium mine in Kurdistan called "Kohag" has been opened in Khoy. The Islamic Republic of Iran has started to plunder this mine to provide resources for their nuclear energy fuel.
Now that IRI has accomplished a great achievement, they want to use "Khoy" city uranium resources for their nuclear programs. The regime's authorities claim they would like to use this mine's uranium for energy production purposes in their interviews with the media and newspapers. "Mohammad Eslami", the vice president and the head of the nuclear program of IRI, as a high ranked authority of Iran's regime took part in the opening ceremony of this mine and claimed that: "we will use this establishment to provide nuclear energy and gain the ability for producing nuclear energy and increasing our chance of enhancing electronic beams in the nuclear industry."
The IRI had faced a lack of uranium resources thus they began searching for uranium mines and since their attempts to import uranium, Urania, and enriched uranium had failed they were looking for enough amount of uranium for their nuclear weapon production program.
Most of the countries possess uranium resources and they use this element for medical, electricity, and energy production purposes however, on the contrary, the Iranian regime uses this element just for nuclear weapon production. They enrich the uranium with highly developed devices to a level that could be used for making nuclear weapons and this is a grave threat for humanity and the whole world.
Right now, the Iranian regime is under the US's hardest sanctions thus they cannot import uranium from foreign countries. Finding the uranium in Khoy, the East part of Kurdistan, was a great achievement for IRI which can use it for improving their nuclear weapon program. This, however, is a high loss for Kurdistan. Plundering these underground resources can cause serious problems for the future of Kurdistan and its people. The influential figures should not let anybody depredate Kurdistan's mines easily.
