Ahmad Khalili Fard, a Painter from East Kurdistan, passed away

He has held more than 15 solo exhibitions and participated in more than 100 group exhibitions during his life. In addition, a number of his works have been painted on several walls in Tehran, Iran's capital. Most of Ahmad Khalili Fard's paintings reflect Kurdish culture, life, and clothing.

Ahmad Khalilifard, a Kurdish painter from Sina, East Kurdistan, passed away in Tehran.

Ahmad Khalili Fard was born in 1950 in Sina (Sanandaj), East Kurdistan. He completed his primary, secondary, and high school education in Sina.

He received his bachelor's degree in Art from Tehran University College of Fine Arts. He holds a master's degree from the College of Arts of Tarbiat Modares University of Tehran. He taught art and painting at Tehran University, Yazd University of Arts, and Kerman University of Arts for over twenty years.

He has opened several workshops and courses in Russia, Lebanon, Italy, Yums, Bangladesh, China, and other countries during this time.

He has held over 15 solo exhibitions and participated in more than 100 group exhibitions. In addition, several of his paintings have been painted on several walls in Tehran.

Most of Ahmad Khalili Fard's paintings reflect Kurdish culture, life, and clothing.

In addition to painting, he also worked as a sculptor. Both the sculptures Shakhavan and Sohrawardi, which are installed in Sina, are among the works of this Kurdish artist.

Khalili Fard was a member of the Association of Iranian Painters and the Association of Painting Development Institute in Iran.

In 2002, he received two honorary diplomas and a bronze medal from the Paris Tribal, France.

He received the first-degree medal of art from the Iranian Ministry of Culture.

He died in Tehran after several years of illness.
