Good afternoon, dear audience, teachers and researchers, linguists and writers, tireless organizations and media, and well-known individuals of Kurdish society, welcome to all of you. Thank you for participating and being here from anywhere.

We, as Kurdshop consider ourselves very happy that we can fulfill the promise we made a year ago when Zara was imprisoned, as a sacred and national duty, today.

Kurdshop, seeing the huge gap in the field of language and feeling a national responsibility, decided to present a special award in the field of language for the first time, so that writers, teachers, and linguists can show their abilities and be a motivation for them to serve the Kurdish language. The award should also be as such that meet your expectations and become a cause for further development of the Kurdish language and the relationship between the dialects and more familiarity with each other and to enhance the Kurdish language.

 

Dear Guests!

As we all know, Zara is currently in prison, but we are sure that she will not stop in prison and will continue her service to the Kurdish language and teach her lessons. Although the Islamic Republic of Iran thinks that it can prevent the development of the Kurdish language through its inhuman actions, we are sure that with the presence of people like Zara and many other teachers, the Kurdish language will always reach its peak.

We also want to build a cognitive and symbolic foundation for the future of the Kurdish language and its development with the help of experts and loyalists of the Kurdish language.

We assure you that despite all the conspiracies of the opponents to destroy the Kurdish language, arrest teachers, and obstruct their path, we can succeed with love for the mother tongue and its development. As Peshawa (the Leader) Qazi Mohammad says about the love of mother tongue: Our mother tongue is part of our mother's milk mixed with our blood and flesh, so let us love our language.

In conclusion, I wish Zara and all other Kurdish teachers wherever they are freedom as soon as possible. I hope that next year in East Kurdistan, under the shadow of the sacred Kurdistan flag, we will be able to hold the second Zara Award ceremony in the presence of Zara herself.

I also consider it necessary to send my greetings to the souls of all the Kurdistan martyrs, especially those of the recent uprising in East Kurdistan.
