The ceremony began with the national anthem "Ay Raqib" and a moment of silence to pay tribute to the souls of the Kurdish martyrs.
Then, Walat Qaderi, the President of the Kurdshop Organization, delivered his speech on the discourse of Kurdishness, the importance of the Kurdish language, literature, and culture, and the organization's goals besides the purpose of presenting the Zara Award for the Kurdish Language.
An infographic on Kurdshop's activities in the past two years was played in the Kurdish-Sorani language. Then several pieces of music and songs were performed by two artists from West Kurdistan, Nurshin and Parwin.
During the ceremony, Sudad Rasoul, as a jury representative, read out the jury report and announced the name of Ms. Amina Amar as this year's winner.
Afterward, Abdullah Hassanzadeh, a well-known political and literary figure in East Kurdistan, presented the Zara Award to Khalid Mohammad as the representative of Ms. Amina Amar in the ceremony. Finally, a video on the biography and works of Ms. Amina Amar was shown.
In the final part of the ceremony, a video of Zara Mohammadi sent to the ceremony was played.
